How This Works
This is a simple idea rooted in the opportunity to practice something new and provide delicious bread with my community. With my Pay What You Feel value model there is no commitment of cost to you upfront.
The value of the bread is up to you.
Once you’ve had a chance to taste it, come back to the shop and use the “Pay For Your Loaf” option.
Some loaves will be home runs. Others might still be a work in progress. That’s part of the process. By choosing the value after you taste it, you’re helping me improve without the pressure of running a traditional bakery.
When you receive a fresh loaf, the value becomes something you feel—not something you’re told.
Will some people take the bread, love it, and never pay? Probably. But by keeping this small and within my local community, I believe it balances out. And if it doesn’t, that’s okay too. I still get to practice, improve, and put myself out there.

Trust The Process

Fresh From The Oven
Each bake will be limited in quantities while I figure this out. My goal is four loaves available each drop. Remember I am new to this and am still figuring this out.

The Drop
My labor is done! The drop notification will be posted on Instagram only when four or more loaves are available. Some end up being fails due to over proofing, or if a new bread type just doesn’t work out. Drops will post after 10am when they are available and will also announce if they are being delivered that day or the next.

Bread To Your Door - Say No More
Delivery is available within Oak Park only. There are no scheduled delivery times, or appointments taken—loaves will be dropped off when ready, and as my day allows.
If you live in a multi-family building or from a neighboring community, please select pickup at checkout. No-contact porch pickup is available in South Oak Park near Village Hall for all orders. I will provide the pickup address once its ready.

If you end up with a cosmetic masterpiece on the outside but a hot mess express on the inside… let me know. Seriously. That’s how I get better.
If it’s just as beautiful and tasty on the inside, then simply pay what you feel it’s worth. Head to the shop, select the “Value Item”, choose your amount, and check out. I’ll also send you a reminder once your bread is delivered.
